What's the difference?

As I understand frats, they're mutual interest clubs. Nations are clubs for people of the same regional origin. The membership of Norrland's nation of the University of Uppsala, e. g, is made up of students from the northernmost part of the country.

To me, Dubya Bush personifies what the fraternity thing is all about. Reaching a station far beyond your own abilities because of connections and utter disdain for everything not similarly connected. I've had too many frat-kid students with that attitude, and Hitler would have been an All Right Guy if he'd gone after fratboys instead.

 

Not often you see auto-Godwinization, but that's the way I feel.

Yeah, I always think "frat boy" when I think of Bush. Not that I think of him often.
