I've always been on the end of a tank-type water heater, where a hot water failure takes a minute or so to manifest ... not a discontinuous sudden flash-freeze. About 102 is comfortable to laze around indefinitely, much warmer and you wind up sitting at the edge a lot. One pool was running at 110 for a bit, but that's too hot for anything more than short dips. The water actually comes out of the ground at 180-190 and is used to heat the entire place, but they cool it off for the pools with river water. It's very scenic and tranquil.
