AliceTheOwl
Re: The Last Word Gesundheit. Thank you. ^ v ^ We have a friend who lives there, and works for a local daily newspaper. As much as she'd like to work for a bigger paper, like the Boston Globe or the major paper in San Francisco, she's stuck working for this one until the economy improves, or she wins more awards, or something. And she, like us, is utterly broke. So, why not share space, thereby saving on cost of living across the board, so we can all pay stuff off? That she's also a roleplayer is a nice bonus. Cancer
Re: The Last Word You say that as if scientists were immune from/deaf to mysticism and other appeals which aren't recognized as strict rationalism. That is gravely mistaken, as approximately any scientist would tell you. Most scientists prefer to keep the mystical motivations and/or aesthetics out of what they write (and mostly out of what they say), because part of the point of science is that it works and is comprehensible when completely divorced from mystical elements. But that is not how they work in their own heads by any means.
