SCUBA Hero
From the FAQ (italics mine): "Q: If a character allocates Combat Skill Levels to DCV, or obtains a DCV bonus from a Combat Maneuver and the like, and then suffers Knockback, but uses Breakfall to stay on his feet, does he lose the DCV bonuses? A: No. If he did not keep his feet he would, of course, be subject to penalties for being prone, but as long as he keeps his feet he doesn’t suffer any diminishment of DCV." Huh. I never used 1/2 DCV for being Prone after taking Knockback. Is that just me, or do other Hero folks do that as well?

Dust Raven
Re: Knockback and 1/2 DCV It's not a specific penalty for Knockback, but a penalty for being prone. Prone is 1/2 DCV, and prone is prone, no matter how you got there.

Intrope
Re: Knockback and 1/2 DCV I'd also assumed that people embedded in walls via knockback counted as 'Prone' along with people who are flying and still in the air after being knocked back. In any case, you take the penalty (1/2 DCV and must spend a half-phase to right yourself). Of course, that assumes you're still concious after the knockback! DocMan
Re: Knockback and 1/2 DCV We definately use prone penalties. Some characters you have to trip up so you can hit them. Doc
