Re: The cranky thread

I have fallen to what the Welsh call Hiraeth, a deep, bitter, intense longing for the things I've lost.

I tried to watch porn today and it reduced me to tears, with the realization I'm too broken to even try anymore.

Funny, the more my friends and family seem to try and help me, the worse it gets when I'm alone.

I think my brain has decided I'm at fault for all that bewoes me, and is taking out on me

Hey, welcome to my world. So nice of you to stop by for a visit. ;)

Seriously, though, some kinds of mood/states of mind require professional feedback. Try to find a good cognitive-behavioral therapist. It's hard to put that kind of thing on friends/family, because they can't be objective.

if they spell it that way, how do they pronounce it? Welsh always confuses me. actually all Gaelic forms do. :(

Re: The cranky thread

So, my blood pressure has been steadily reading rather high for quite some time ... Usually in excess of 130/80. High BP means excess fluid in the body, means I need more dialysis, so I've been using a stronger solution. Turns out, either my cuff is defective or I just plain can't do it right, as the doctor took my BP at the clinic visit today and got 90/60. This explains my excessive weakness, dizziness, and perhaps nausea over the last month or so ... i've been over-dialyzing and drying myself out.

I once saw a post from a lady whose daughter was hearing folks speaking in Welsh. Daughter said: "What's that, Mommy? It sounds like they're talking in cursive!"
