SatinKitty
Re: The cranky thread It might be asthma. My last cold last year ended with a cough that wouldn't go away also. The Allergist gave me inhalers but they are not helping this time.
teh bunneh
Re: The cranky thread Do you get heartburn frequently? I used to have a cough that just wouldn't go away. Turned out my heartburn was irritating my esophagas (sp?). I started taking anti-heartburn medicine and the cough went away.
SatinKitty
Re: The cranky thread I don't get heartburn much, but I do take Nexium, which is an Acid Reflux prevention medicine.
tkdguy
Re: The cranky thread Sorry to hear that, guys. I hope you get better soon. Last month, I had to change my account in order to stop a scam. I was issued a temporary ATM card. It just expired. And my regular card hasn't come in, although I was supposed to get it two weeks ago. And my checks haven't arrived either. I need to see the bank. Old Man
Re: The cranky thread Well, it's official: the three-year-old is allergic to peanuts. I get to be one of the parents who carries an epi-pen wherever he goes.
CrosshairCollie
Re: The cranky thread I have a very nasty piece of spyware on my computer. The annoying thing is, what it does is pop up a balloon on my icons that says 'you have spyware', then opens a window to a site where you can buy anti-spyware programs. It's an extortion scheme. Edit: Yay! I killed it!

tkdguy
Re: The cranky thread I seem to have caught a cold, which I've avoided all year. Why do random strangers try to act like a**holes to me? And they're surprised when I return the favor.

tkdguy
Re: The cranky thread Dunno. Then again, I take don't the train in the best part of town, although it isn't the worst part either.

It is just that there are a lot of people in a fairly small area...
archermoo
Re: The cranky thread As another Bay Area type who spent plenty of time in SF' date=' the ahole portion are mostly found on Muni.[/quote'] Though it helps if you ride Muni early. I get to work at 7a, and I think most of the aholes either sleep in or have only recently gone to bed at that point. More of them on the commute home... CrosshairCollie
Re: The cranky thread To quote Greg Proops from a Hoedown blooper ... "God motherf**king s**t." Some of you, I'm sure, recall me discussing my operation on my left arm, for the dialysis shunts. How I was terrified, how much it hurt afterwards, yadda yadda yadda. It didn't work right. The veins in my left arm were insufficient for use, so I'm going to have to go back, and do it all over a-f**king-gain.

CrosshairCollie
Re: The cranky thread Sympathy appreciated. It's worse because now they're gonna mess up my RIGHT arm, which is my primary one. My left arm still hurts after a month ... at least this time they're not gonna mess around with trying to use my own veins, they're gonna use a graft (not an unusual occurance, I'm told).
