These are life science types, some intending to go to medical school, some to other health careers, and others I don't know. They have been in biology labs and some chemistry labs, and nearly all of them were in a physics (mechanics) lab last quarter. But electricity ... more or less no one has experience with electricity, and the very concepts of electric field and (in particular) electric potential seem to escape them. Much too abstract.
