Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I spent the long weekend (I had Good Friday off, bless the Jesuits) at Norwescon being a panelist. Went short of sleep. And I still think that the girls who wear chainmail corsets, while interesting to look at, are weak on the concepts both of chainmail and corsets. Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER For all the steampunk costumes at the con, remarkably few people in them were wearing orders (the honors, medal-with-ribbon kind). If I had any kinds of craftsy skills I'd whip up some and sell them. I did mention this to my sister-in-law's beau, and he does have craftsy-costumey skills, so hopefully he can make a bunch and get a profit. Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Chain would work against anything whose wavelength was comparable to or larger than the holes in the mail. Of course, you have to remember the holes for the face & eyes.
