I hadn't realized that guys actually followed particular models when it came to racy pics. That kind of changes my view of pornography a bit. I'm not sure what it changes it TO, but it's a definite shift. Within "even" hardcore porn, there are certain actresses I like and to some degree follow. Nina Hartley is among those, I even went to a signing opportunity at an adult bookstore. I don't collect autographs and was just going to say I admired her work, but the line was so massive and my time limited I couldn't do that. The way it was presented to me (and don't ask how, because I have no idea who I knew growing up who knew ANYTHING about porn) was that these women became faceless shells by posing in magazines and such, thereby dragging themselves down to the same level as those ogling them. But if it's the exact opposite; if they're being put on pedestals for sharing their assets . . . *goes off to ponder* It's tricky. Men are not so "eyes-oriented" or perhaps even "soul-oriented" as women, we are more visceral, more body-oriented, but I think (at least mostly) we really do have interest in the specific person and respond to personality. As a matter of fact, an number of the pics I've kept are nothing but neck-up close-ups...in those cases, it's usually the eyes. I've kept more pictures because of beautiful eyes than for any other single reason. I agree. If I like a woman's face, that makes it, if not I'm just not interested.
