Cancer
Well, he went to a show with tanks, warplanes, and reptiles earlier in the day with his uncle, and his last surviving grandparent was there for dinner, so it seems to have been a good day. Unfortunately his friend was also to have gone to Tankfest came up ill and had to skip, which is too bad, but still....

Pariah
At this moment, someone somewhere is furiously typing an impassioned Facebook post about the evils of GMO foods...while eating seedless grapes.

Cancer
Trying to think if there is another element for which appending -y gives you a distinct noun rather than a descriptive related adjective. EDIT: "Argony" is an amusing near-miss.

Pariah
Having done some Pascal, FORTRAN, and Modula-2 back in the day, "programming" and "fun" are not words I necessarily associate with one another. Cancer
Having done some Pascal, FORTRAN, and Modula-2 back in the day, "programming" and "fun" are not words I necessarily associate with one another. And let's not even talk about machine code. Never did Pascal or Modula, but I did muck around a bit with assembly and, for a couple months, octal machine code. That interfacing lab equipment to minicomputers lab class... Though that did come in handy later in the instrumentation class in grad school. My part of the class project was the interrupt handler. Biggest return on thirteen lines of code I ever got. Pariah

Bazza
It wouldn't take a woodpecker, but a cockroach, or a moth (a bug).
