Cancer
Actually, my subliminal powerzz seem to be effective in attracting only mosquitos and engineers who have never had modern physics who think they can use some nonsense with electromagnetic waves to do away with all that quantum mechanics and relativity bull****. Both of the mosquitos and the 19th Century engineers suck. One sucks your blood; the other sucks your time, patience, and willingness to try educating the public. I'd rather be able to emit octillions of neutrinos per second directionally at will.
L. Marcus
At the engineers?
Cancer
No, for them I'd want neutrons.
Old Man
Speaking of which, when does your order of polonium arrive?
L. Marcus
Is there a practical use for polonium, apart as a radiation source?
Cancer
All I see are uses that follow from its emission of alpha particles. Which makes some sense; it's not abundant enough to be an important bulk or even trace commodity.
L. Marcus
So the Polonium Diet goes right out the window.
Cancer
Well, it eliminates a number of other concerns you might have.

Pariah
Is there a practical use for polonium, apart as a radiation source? Tangentially related: Assassination.
L. Marcus
Practical, but very short on ethical.
Old Man
Yes, one should always strive to use an ethical means of assassination whenever possible.
L. Marcus
See? Oldie gets it.
Cancer
In this situation, "ethical" means "defense contractors make great profits". So blowing up ISIS guys with Predator drones is ethical. Polonium poisoning is not ethical, because only government labs are set up to extract 210Po, and therefore the private sector can't make money doing it. L. Marcus
Now you're being delightfully cynical again!
Cancer
On an entirely different topic, which is the better signature line for a character who's a demon from the netherworld, who's turned good and joined the PCs? Option 1: "Yes, I will see you in Hell. And I'll kick your *** there, too!" Option 2: * (wet tearing sounds) * Pariah
L. Marcus
One is pretty awesome, though a little bit trite. The other lacks context.
