Cancer Posted October 12, 2015 Report Share Posted October 12, 2015 Well, observing isn't that challenging an activity, unless the weather sucks and conditions are changing rapidly. Then you're doing lots of thinking on the fly about what you might be able to do. Otherwise, you're usually working from a plan you made up well in advance, and the telescope is pointed at the same thing for extended periods of time. Not really that exciting a pastime.
