Pariah
At the age of forty-something, I've still got mine. Still got my wisdom teeth and my appendix, too.
Cancer
Current age: 59. Still got tonsils and appendix. Wisdom teeth went away a couple weeks short of age 19. Got a tube in one ear about three months ago.

Cancer
No, just something to get back at least part of the 30 dB I'd lost from my right ear.

Cancer
The tintinnus was pretty bad, too. Rather better now.
Cancer
It was about 0820 this morning, as I raised the hammer to bust up some drywall, that I recalled why I chose to be a desk worker forty-odd years ago, and realized I had no regrets about the choice I made. None whatsoever. Pariah
L. Marcus
Did the low DEX betray you again?
Cancer
No, for the most part, the DEX was not an issue; it was demolition, not repair or construction. No, at that memorable moment, a million muscle fibers cried out as one, and were not silent.

Old Man
So not DEX, but CON. Or perhaps LTE.

Old Man
Oh, that. That's trivial. No, it's treachery. It's right there above my avatar! Can't you read?
Cancer
Well, yes. But it's the trivial difficulty of all that which makes for the "no match for" bit. I mean, it'd actually be interesting if it was a challenge. As it is, it is a minor art form, appreciated only by other practitioners who know a carefully-crafted trap when they see one, and they appreciate it for the art of it. Pariah
It's not even necessarily treachery. In many cases, it's just being wiser, smarter, and/or more experienced.
