Cancer
I saw the racoon in the yard again yesterday afternoon. After seeing Guardians of the Galaxy a couple of times, I halfway expected him to talk or pull out an energy weapon or something. Pariah
So, I'm giving my Introduction to Chemistry students their first exam of the year. What music shall I have playing for them when they arrive to class: Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries", the "Dies Irae" from Verdi's Requiem, "Mars: The Bringer of War" from The Planets, or the Vader March from "The Empire Strikes Back"? Decisions, decisions....

L. Marcus
Something doleful, like one of the Winter pieces from Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.
Pariah
Night on Bald Mountain, the scary piece from the original Fantasia. Oddly enough, I heard BYU's marching band playing this during the game last Saturday.

Cancer
OK, the Royals made the postseason, That makes now the longest postseason droughts to be ... Toronto (since 1993), and Seattle (since 2001). And since the NY Giants and Jets (both NFL) suck, the NY Knicks and NJ Nets (both NBA) suck, and I have no idea about how the NY Rangers (NHL) are expected to do, ESPN will be talking about the apotheosis of Saint Derek the Jeter until next spring's NFL camps, probably.
