Cancer
He was a physicist. That sort of precludes being wise about women. See? Note that URL: these are sold directly by the American Physical Society.

Bazza
Do you really want Olivia Newton-John in a laboratory going "let's get physical"?
Cancer
I avoided that in first run, and I'll avoid it now.
Old Man
He was a physicist. That sort of precludes being wise about women. See? Note that URL: these are sold directly by the American Physical Society. Considering how his personal life went, I'd say that's pretty accurate. Cancer
I realized yesterday that one of the gimme coffee mugs I have is 25 years old. And the only reason I realized it is because it's from a conference I went to for the 50th anniversary of McDonald Observatory, and the mug says "1939 - 1989" on it. So the mug gets promoted from the everyday mug shelf to the trophy shelf.
L. Marcus
It's almost as old as me!
Cancer
I've had that mug about as long as I have known my wife; mere months, tops, separate the two durations.

lemming
Cancer's post about the mug reminded me that I have a "Have a relatively non-threatening stress free day" Coffee mug. Bright yellow with a non-smily face. Pretty sure I got it from a job that I left in '94. Surprised it's still alive, though so are a couple others from that era including my LA Cororner mug. Cancer
Now that I'm home, I'll peruse the mug collection.
