Diamond Spear
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I don’t really have anything to say but it occurred to me that I have never posted to this thread and as a loyal member of the NGD I wanted to contribute. I now return to….whatever it was you were doing when I interrupted.

hfergus
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER ZZZZZZ Wha? Huh? I fell asleep at the keyboard and ended up here. How'd that happen? (not really, just upping the thread.)
AliceTheOwl
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER That is one way to do it. Another is by tossing out a suggested topic of conversation so we can all ignore it.
lemming
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I so need a vacation right now. I need to get away from the rampant stupidity. I like the people I share my office with at least. I was depending on a different department doing something. They didn't. Thankfully I had a backup plan, but I hate having to always have a backup plan because I know that there will be a screwup.
SteveZilla
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Flip the order then. Next time you are going to depend upon another department and also have a backup plan, just cut to the chase and go with the backup plan. I've been getting flack for doing just that, so I made more of an effort in including them this time. However, I documented the interactions just a bit more this time, so it may be better in the future.

AliceTheOwl
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER . . . Maybe not. Explain the sensation' date=' please?[/quote'] You're chopping stuff up into little bits, and you feel all happy about it, to the point of giddiness. Actually, "chipper" is just generally upbeat and positive, like it would take a whole lot to take your good mood away from you.

AliceTheOwl
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Do they not have wood chippers . . . Wherever you are? Shredding a lot of paper at once can often elicit the same reaction, though not on the same scale. And with particularly disgusting fridge discoveries, the garbage compactor has also made me quite a happy camper, from time to time.
