starblaze
So I recently have joined in a Champions game online that takes place in an alternate world where the Axis won WW2 and both the Japanese and the Nazis have taken over most of the United Sates. Our characters are resistance fighters trying to liberate America. So it got my to thinking, what would your past and present characters be like in a world where the Japanazis had taken over? Give me your alternate takes.
Stanley Teriaca
Sunburn John Roberts would be one of the guys who manipulate the media to create positive spin on the group of Nazi superhero groups. He might also sneak information to the superheroes of the resistance. As a teenager, John was Sunburn, a resistance superhero himself. Till he was found out and his family was put into the death camps, which forced him to "retire". Lady Heart Robert Trueheart is a teenage media star in the California area (obviously controlled by the Japanese). He is also secretly the resistance fighter 'magical girl' Lady Heart, fighting the Yoki controlled by the Nazi miko (shrine maidens) who use them against the resistance and terrorise the non-Japanese people (better terrorise. The areas outside Japan then in Japan).
Sundog
Golden Willow A Chinese Martial Artist from Hong Kong, in our game she's a British immigrant (the campaign is set in London) keeping away from the Chinese government. Here, I'd suspect she's working for the Chinese resistance against the Japanese, probably liaising between them and the US resistance, due to her being both quite capable without weapons and speaks fluent English.
