Old Man
1) Author: William Gibson 2) Novel: Snow Crash, or maybe David Brin's Uplift Trilogy, I can't decide 3) Comic: Strikeforce: Morituri 4) Movie: Aliens and it's not even close, but there are many really good ones 5) Movie Poster: Blade Runner 2049 (also a highly underrated film) Spoiler 6) TV Series: Babylon 5 7) Artist: Micheal Whelan Generally speaking, I'm a fan of science fiction that is insightful about the future or at least one particular aspect of it. As much as I love Star Wars, for example, it's space fantasy that has little to say about technological advancement and how it will affect us. Duke Bushido
Wow. This is hard. I have had rhis oulled up for a couple of hours, and while Sci-Fi is my absolute favorite genre, I don't have a favorite this or that, except possibly artist, and I dont even know his name! He seems to have done the largest percentage (but not a majority) of the line art from the Traveller Book, the Starter Set, etc- technically 'the 3e' of Classic Traveller. What can I say? You all know that good clean line art moves me in an almost spiritual way...

Peak Shirow line art from Appleseed 4 was astonishing. Although even the hentai is well executed.
Logan D. Hurricanes
I considered Giger for artist, but I realize too much of it is disturbing to say I really enjoy it. I respect it is probably a more accurate statement.

Well, I spent a few hours cruising the net and it was definitely Dietrick. Though Caswell is indeed superb. I think I like Dietrick"s peple and faces, and Farwell"s ships and panoramas. Just incredible. Old Man
