unclevlad
Something of a side thought. What do people think of a form of skill level that gives +1 to all background skills of a given type, defined by the associated skill enhancers? If it sounds plausible, then...cost. 2 per level? 3? Any 3 skills would be 3 points, and, "broad groups" are 4 points. (6e1 89) I'm inclined to say 3 points, as long as the group is tightly defined. LoneWolf
I would count that as a broad group so it would be 4 points per level. That may seem high but consider you can already apply a skill enhancer to these skills means they are already dirt cheap. Assuming a 23 INT I can get a knowledge skill on a 14 or less for 2 points. Some of these skills can actually be very useful and they are already steeply discounted when you have the skill enhancer.
unclevlad
Background skills are 1 point per level, tho…not 2. And Scholar itself is 3, so the 4th KS would be 2. The first 3 are still 3. And you sank 13 points into INT.
