Well, technically he had zero to do with THAT particular disaster (whether causing or solving, he's been a great big zero). If we're going to start getting rid of people on general principles, there'd be no one left.
Old Man
Has anyone posted the story of the three young kids who burned to death with their grandmother in Texas after the fire they lit to try and stay warm got out of control? tkdguy

No thanks, he's not my type. 😁 I'll settle for getting him out of office and suitably punished.
Lord Liaden
Well, some might call that suitable punishment. Although in Ted's case I'm not sure who'd be punished more, the screwer or screwee.

I'd be perfectly fine with starting with him and then abandoning the general trend when it becomes impractical. Then again, I also think we should get rid of him on the specific principles of continuing to spread lies about the 2020 election and support the Jan. 6 insurrection after the fact. Pariah
Perhaps you've heard the old joke, "What do you call 500 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? A good start." Anyway, that's what I thought when I read this article. Four energy board members to resign after catastrophic Texas blackouts during winter storm As I said, a good start. Now let's see what happens with state lawmakers.

Now let's see what happens with state lawmakers. Nothing good for now. The process to fill vacancies is...pick from names nominated by current members. Uhhh...huh. I rather suspect that all that's gonna happen is they'll pick new members in lockstep with the current "policies."
Cancer
... who are in positions to give cushy policy positions back to their buddies. This describes so much of Texas government.
